AID B Cell EliSpot Kits
Detection of B-cell-mediated immune response
Additional information complementary to serology
B cells are part of the cellular immune response against bacteria and viruses. Usually, the B-cell immune reaction is determined by measuring specific antibodies in serum. However, this reflects only part of B-cell activity and therefore only part of immunity against a pathogen. Memory B cells can exist without a detectable antibody titer and, through their differentiation and the resulting initiation of antibody production, play an important role in humoral immune defense.
